So let's begin with a Happy New Year to everyone! For those in Christ, may this be the year of the Lords favor on you. For those who are not of the fold, may you come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as soon as possible. 

This message is for the lost among us. Those who need Jesus. 

Friends, once upon a time, we were all sinners, but there were events that lined up in our lives that removed the veil from our eyes and allowed us to see the glory of Jesus Christ. Was it simple? No. Has life been full of sun shine and roses, no. So why do it?

There comes a time in your life when you come to an impasse, where hard decisions must be made and that line drawn clearly in the sand. 

For me, were I to continue on my path to destruction, (I admit my sins are plenty, too numerous to list,) or to finally humble myself at the awesome feet of a mighty, just God. If I continued, I can say with 100% certainty that I would be in my grave. The wages of sin lead to death and I was running straight for it. 

BUT GOD. 

God saw it all. He saw every second of that life and still looked on my ugliest sin filled self and saw Jesus beautiful redemptive grace for my life and loved me so completely. No human love can compare. 

God saw that this lowly human had a purpose. That preserving my life from my numerous attempts on it, I was worthy of His saving Grace and His love. All I needed was one more opportunity to turn around and face Him.

I came face to face with my God. I stood in His presence the unclean, evil, vile, sin filled wretch that I was and with one act of Jesus, He covered me in the redemptive blood of His Holy self and made me clean! Clean before my Lord! As the beautiful Petra lyrics state:

 "Like a spotless lamb, I'm blameless in His sight

With no trace of wrong left to right

I'm clean, clean, clean!"

There I, the lowliest of the low, could stand boldly before the throne of Grace! My true repentance and total turn around gave me the Grace to be united with the Father through Jesus's gift of the cross. Who am I, who is anyone that would not take such a gift?

But the gift, it comes with conditions -Honor the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might!

Turn away from the way of the world and cleave to Him. God's way must be your be all and end all! 

This world is sick and backwards, It hates all that was created by God, it twists and tears the very fabric of society, truth and right and for a time makes all evil feel right. But soon, sooner than you realize, the falsehood falls away and reveals the trap and often times, it's too late, you are trapped. You have been told a lie and you believed that lie and made it your life!

But God...

There is a way out! But it will take all you have to escape. You will have to kill that old life, the old ways, the lies. Repentance is never easy. Admitting to God that you have sinned even when you feel that you haven't because the world says so... God's way is higher. His word is absolute Truth. He is not a man that He should lie! No, He is just and righteous, there is no evil in Him. His word stands!

Not one of us is blameless! We all have twisted His holy scripture to suit our wants and desires. How many times have you spat in the face of Almighty God? This should terrify you! 

Friends, Now is the time, now it's the hour, the very second that you have an opportunity to turn from the life you now lead to a life that gives Glory to God. By reading these words, you have made yourself aware and accountable to the truth. You can not claim ignorance to Him. Hell is full of Good people with good intentions.  

Salvation is only through Jesus, no one and nothing else. Your Good deeds mean nothing! They are filthy rags before a Holy God.

But you in your infinite wisdom do not believe in God because "love is love" or children die, or good people die, or you have a disease that isn't healed or your dad died of cancer believing for a miracle. 

None of that is God's fault. It's because we have turned our backs on Him that sin has entered the world. And death and disease is a byproduct of sin!

But trusting God can make life worth living! Even if you are Never healed, you are still making an impact for Jesus! Being an ambassador for Him in the vessel you are in possession of, use it for the glory of a God! You don't have to be physically perfect to tell a broken heart Jesus loves you. 

You will lose "friends", you will lose family and perhaps jobs and social status but what does any of that compare to when you gain Christ? 

The time is coming when The Western church will be persecuted and ridiculed for what we stand for, but rest assured friends, we fight the Good fight of Faith! Our Faith is our seal and when they kill these earthen vessels we will be seated with Christ! Not even death can keep us from His side!

Christianity is not for the weak, oh no, it is for those who love the truth, who will stand for what is right and protect those who are weaker. We stand for Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our Faith! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Lamb of God! This time friends, when the book will close, will your name be written down? Do you have the fortitude to stand against the devil in these evil days? To turn your back on the world and live for Christ alone? 

Sin wants to seperate you for God, from His love. 

All you need do is throw yourself on the mercy seat, the foot of the cross, repent and turn from your wicked ways, run to God, let Him set you free and then...

Stand!

The Fabulous gifts of Reconciliation and Forgiveness through Christ Jesus our God and Saviour

I have been avoiding social media now for months.  I deactivated Facebook a year or more ago, don't use Twitter,  have no clue how to work Instagram or tiktok.  I have no interest in reading things from covid to Biden to Trudeau et al. I am here to tell you,  I DO NOT MISS IT,  NOT EVEN A WEE BIT! 

Now,  just because I have chosen a quiet life,  does not mean the hubby and kids have followed suit.  So occasionally I get the latest news and gossip from lala land.

What I heard recently has prompted much study for myself. So let's get to it! 

Disclaimer: my blog, my opinion, you don't have to agree.  Move along lil' doggy if you don't like what your reading. 

Okay here we go!

So it has been said that Jesus doesn't address many of today's social issues.  No where in the New Testament does Jesus condemn things like homosexual behavior, or even pedophilia for that matter. Guess that means because Jesus didn't address it,  we have a pass to continue on. 

WRONG. So wrong.

Okay let's get to my first point. 

POINT ONE 

What the church has failed to teach could fill a few books.  They make distinctions for everything to suit the current social and political climate they find themselves in so they can be relevant to the times we are in. 

One thing the church has pretty much failed to drill home is the most simple basic fact: JESUS IS GOD.

Jesus is not just a flesh and blood man,  the Bible states in Col 2:9 that in Him (Jesus) the whole fullness of diety dwells bodily. Jesus is 100% God and 100% man at the same time. 

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God and the Word WAS God. He was with God in the beginning... skip down to 14, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among men.  

There are numerous scriptures you can search that talk about the triality of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

While our human brains can not completely comprehend the true nature of the God head, rest assured, Jesus is one with God.  He is God, PERIOD.

POINT TWO

Since we have now nailed that FACT down,  let's move along to the next thing the church is failing to teach. 

Since Jesus is God, everything that God has spoken has also come out of the mind and mouth of Jesus!

There is no discourse or confusion or separation within the God head. 

God Speaks, Jesus acts, the Holy Spirit works it all out.  They are in perfect unity and agreement 100% of the time.  

Jesus, trying to drill home this simple point as He stated in John 8:58, "Before Abraham, I am." And then in John 10:30, Jesus nearly got stoned for stating this "I and my Father are one". Don't think I need to make that any more simple.  

They all speak, they all agree AS ONE.

POINT THREE

Since they all speak and all agree as one, then the most logical conclusion is that anything God spoke in the Old Testament is in fact from Jesus as well.  Jesus has been since Before time and therefore as part of the God head has spoken the entirety of the Bible from the first words ever spoken "LET THERE BE LIGHT" to the last words of Revelations.

THEREFORE! Jesus from the start of the foundations of the World has laid out for all of mankind the rules in which He wants for us to live. 

POINT FOUR

The Bible has clearly stated from the first book to the last book the plan that God/Jesus has designed for the lives of the believers.  He has laid out very simple instructions for us to follow. 

Now,  some people like to call out things like what is written in the book of Leviticus as "cherry picking" and "hypocritical" because Christians today do not follow these specific commands from God. 

There are alot of people today who by choice commit infanticide through abortion, homosexuality, adultery, idolatry etc.

They say how come we aren't stoning your mother for wearing mix fibers or selling your daughters into slavery?

You guys remember when we had to put a warning label on coffee because it was hot? 

First let's make this super clear,  if you want to justify being a homosexual,  pedophile, zoophile (insert deviant behaviour) by using the Bible as your key argument, then you got a huge set of kahoonies. 

See,  Leviticus was not written for just anyone,  it was specific to a group of people who were CHOSEN by GOD and called to a HOLY life, separating themselves from the rest of us. They were given guidelines to live their lives by the Rule of God. Gentiles not so much. Sadly,  it's on the other side of the river we were not called to such a Holy Standard of living. We could continue to live our debasing, self absorbed lives as we saw fit. Leviticus DOES NOT APPLY TO GENTILES. (But hold on...more on this in a second)

It wasn't until Jesus came to earth that the message of SALVATION came to the gentiles. Remember the lady who came begging like a dog for scraps? Well Roll over puppy, it's our turn now!

POINT FIVE

The gift of reconciliation and forgiveness of sin

Time for the meat! 

Jesus said in John 14:6,  "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me. "

In John 9:5 Jesus said "as long as I am in the world,  I am the light of the world."

Light and Life are very significant in the life of a believer.

Jesus has clearly spoken here as God in His use of "I am". Research for yourself the many "I am" statements of Jesus and allow for the Holy Spirit to bring you the total Revelation of the oneness of JESUS AS GOD.

See from the very beginning,  God the Father knew that man was going to fall,  He new the entirety of History from start to now and knew that we were in desperate need of saving.  Jesus the son at the very beginning of time laid His life down for our sins so that we could have a future with Him in the presence of our Father. 

There was no greater gift than the gift of salvation through the shedding of the blood of the Lamb from the foundation of the world.  

Jesus came at a time in History when everything was perfect for the plan of salvation to be put into action. Justifying us all once and for all through his death on the cross and bringing is into right standing. His victory over death, hell and the grave has given all of us the "free pass" we need to avoid eternal damnation. Reconciliation was the game plan from the start. 

In the beginning God/Jesus spoke these words "LET THERE BE LIGHT". Now,  this is my opinion to which I am adding to this statement, take it or not.  

Light is not only about the physical light that we have because at this point the sun wasn't created,  this light was more then just a physical illumination, it was also the releasing of wisdom and knowledge in my opinion.  

People who are not believers are referenced in the Bible as being in the dark,  and there eyes are closed to scripture because they are in the dark,  when we become saved,  we are illuminate with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  The light that is in this world.  That light is a beacon that points us towards the Holy lives we are urged - not forced to live. 

We are asked by God to give up the things of this earth to come and follow Him.  The call to Holiness is like the call of the chosen people.  God is not commanding us that we must,  He is imploring is to come off our own free will. 

Jesus did not come to abolish the laws, but to fulfill them.  We have laws because we are to eager to sin. Ever hear that lock doors keep honest people honest? Same thing.  The law is still there,  but you don't have to go out of your way to break them.  In fact, unless you are breaking the law, you don't have to worry about them now do you? 

Jesus also brought us another awesome gift,  GRACE. GOD'S UNMERRITED FAVOUR. This is the best gift a Christian has because instead of having to continually sacrifice animals to cover our sins,  Jesus's death on the cross covered ever confessed sin once and for all. We can come boldly before the throne of grace and leave our sins as He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

POINT SIX

CHOICES! Oh what a tangle web we weave when at first we practice to device. 

I'm going to cherry pick a couple of sins here,  I'm going to pick adultery and homosexuality.

So everyone who knows me knows that I am by far the most sinful human to ever live.  I have pretty much crossed off every commandment. Now one by technicality- I have never actually committed murder but to be honest I have wished that a couple of people would fall off the face of the earth so as the Bible Said hate in one's heart is essentially murder,  I have that sin against me. 

I have already confessed my sins before God/Jesus and I firmly believe that God/Jesus through the precious blood of God/Jesus has reconciled me back the Father. 

Sin is sin. There is no difference in what that sin is,  it all separates us from God.

Now specifically homosexuality, this seems to be the biggest beef between the world and the Bible at this present moment.  I have a couple of questions about this. 

1. If you're lgbt and not a Christian what does it matter to you what I believe or what the Bible has to say? Go on and do what you want,  your life. 

2. If you are a Christian and are lgbt and or support the LGBT, how do you reconcile supporting sin? Because if this is the case, your are saying that God/Jesus is wrong and you know better and what God designed from the beginning is wrong. 

If God in the Old Testament stated that a man sleeping with a man as a woman is an ABOMINATION, trust me when I say,  Jesus says the same thing. So if both agree we know the Holy Spirit is on board and that's the unity of the God head. 

God does not Condone sin of ANY kind. Hence why Jesus had to die!

Now again, if you are lgbt and you are trying to use the Bible as your key fighting point,  you are what we call an oxymoron.  You are trying to fight a battle against God using His own words.  It doesn't matter what you feel is right,  it only matters what God has decreed.  For a Christian,  it is to be our final authority on everything.  Your world view should only be through the lens of the Word of God. 

If you want to use your free will to live a lgbt lifestyle that is up to you but it does not absolved you from the consequences of your actions anymore then drinking and driving.  You may go accident free for a time but sooner or later it will catch up to you. 

God's Word is for God's people. If you don't want to be separated and set apart for Him,  by all means carry on  my wayward son, but you get your comeuppance when the time is done. 

Lukewarm Christian, you do not have the right to have your cake and eat it too. Sorry for your luck.  It is literally God's way or the highway (to hell). You do not have the right to tell God how His Word is to be.  He called these things SIN, that is why He provided us the escape,  Jesus.  

Jesus is the only way.  

You have a choice to make, choose you this day whom you will serve! It's 100% or nothing, your opinion is not needed when God clearly states He hates something. 

There is a way out, there is always a way out of sin,  that is coming to the cross of Christ and repenting, turning completely away from your sin no matter what it may be! Face the music, take the consequence but rest assured,  Jesus will be with you till the end of days. 

What is a Christian to do?

Today's blog brought to you by the mass hysteria of wearing masks in a post covid world.

IN MY OPINION COVID-19 has been the biggest load of horse pucky to be shoveled down the throats of every single living and dead person. While I do not deny people have died, this outbreak is no where near the level of the the Black Death which took over 25 million lives in it's first  round and was far more devastating than covid will ever be and we should have never closed the world down like we did!

The bubonic plague is still here in 2020. 

Mortality depends on the type of plague: Bubonic plague is fatal in about 50-70% of untreated cases, but perhaps 10-15% when treated. Septicaemic plague is almost 100% fatal, and perhaps 40% with treatment. You can still be infected with these today.

Moving along, last week were directed by the powers that be to muzzle ourselves in  masks 😷. Not any specific kind of mask, just anything that pretty much COVERS YOUR IDENTITY. Just in time for riot season! Woot!

Well, I have notice a bunch of you dirty bears rewearing your very much contaminated masks over and over and over. Some of you have even shared your facecoverings. EW. You leave those nasty things in your cars, pockets, wherever, but u don't take a new clean one...nooo you keep that germ infested piece of filth.

Medically speaking, your mask should be changed frequently to prevent bacteria from forming on your face and mask. Wonder how long before upper respiratory issues sky rocket? 

Oh! BUT IT'S THE LAW! Well if you read the law, it also tells you that if there is a risk to your health NOT to wear a mask. I do believe an upper respiratory infection qualifies as a health risk.

But I am a Christian and I must "Follow the laws of the land because God put governments in place and if I do not follow the law there will be consequences". 

That would be a take off of 1 Peter 2:13-17

So this is where we will part ways my dear friends, you go and wear your mask and I will go and NOT wear a mask and here is why.

You believe that I am going against scripture by not wearing a mask, well, I can not live as a freeman like 1Peter 2:13-17 declared me to do. I will rather live like the Apostles did in Acts... REBELS.

See, what my truth is and what yours is are 2 different things. I am not going to obey a rule that infringes on my liberties anymore. 

The government has already closed the doors of ever church in the name of safety but left beer stores open, allowed you to go to Walmart and still live your life but don't you dare worship God! In my part of the country, Mosques were still open and even did their call to prayer on loud speakers! How nice.

Folks, when they closed the churches and left the beer stores open, that is when I drew my line in the sand. How willingly Christians were to stop going to perhaps the safest place possible for them!

Listen real good right here, if you claim to be a blood bought Christian, and are putting all your security and faith into a paper masks you have found a new idol to bow down too. 

No mask is going to save you! The only thing strong enough to kill this virus is people PRAISING GOD and pushing back! 

We as a Christian community need to call a Global Fast! And I mean a biblical, no water, no food, no nothing fast until we get results like the people of Ninievah!

The blood of Christ cleanses us from all sickness, all disease and every sin! How can you call yourself a Christian if your trust is in a mask and not 100% in God? 

Is this tempting God? Not wearing a mask?

HELL TO THE NO IT AIN'T! This is trusting God! This is telling God that you will believe His Word and walk in His divine covenant that states that No Disease, no virus, no plague will come near your dwelling place! 

EITHER GOD'S WORD IS TRUE OR IT IS 💯 A LIE!!!! 

Do you people realize that Jesus and the disciples lived outside the law? Why do you think the were all murdered? Because they stood against Caesar! Because they spoke the name of Jesus that put their mortal bodies in their graves! Jesus went into a temple and beat the stuffing out people! That is called assault and it is against the law! 

In Acts 4:18-19 it states "So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.But Peter and John answered them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, YOU MUST JUDGE, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.""

Their deaths were a direct result of standing against the laws of the land.

Y'all need to read a very, very old book. It's stories of other criminals, people who stood against the government, the false church, the monarchy,  it's original title was "The Acts and Monuments of These Latter and Perilous Days", today known as Foxe's book of Martyrs.

Ladies, our Christian heritage was built on the backs of rebels and the lives and subsequent deaths of many great men and women like Martin Luther who even went against the Catholic Church! William Tyndale, John Huss to name a couple others.

Our first Martyr was Stephen who was murdered for speaking about Jesus! 

Not good enough, lets go back to the book of Daniel! The 3 Servants of the most High God, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood against the rulers and ended up in the fire! Were they tempting God by disobeying a kings edict?  They clearly broke the law! 

No! They knew that God had their backs! The law pushed on them was unfair and designed to draw them out and make them go against their freedom.

My citizenship is in Heaven (Philp 3:20) and I will never tolerate any attack on my personal freedoms. 

See God isn't the one who is going to crush me, the government is. 

Acts 16:37a - "But Paul said to them, "They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned men who are Roman citizen..." 

Paul as a Roman citizen had certain rights that were trampled on and he still stood his ground against the laws while going through the right government channels to plead his case. 

So before you give me your line about wearing seat belts because it's the law and the 10 commandments restrict us, understand that every driver has broken the law by going one KM over the legal posted speed limit. You have broken the law by not wearing your seat belt in a parking lot. In fact, if you do not every day do a circle check of your vehicle before you drive you have broken the law. How many people have done an illegal UTurn? How many of you have stolen a lighter, pen? J-walked across the street? Parked in a handicapped parking spot, had expired tags on your car? 

The 10 commandments were created to show us that we could never possibly measure ourselves perfect, that is why we need a savior, Jesus Christ! For the record, I have single handedly broken every single one of those commandments. I have not physically murdered anyone but I tell you the truth, there are a few people I wished dead.

So you want to nit pick about which laws you are going to break and claim your holier than thou stats, you are lying to yourself and to God and you need to repent. 

So in the end folks, what law are you going to disregard as an inconvenience to you? 

My line has been drawn. This is the hill my battle begins on. I will not take anymore SHIT the government is pushing on me. I will not take their vaccine, I will not take their microchip and I will not take their mark. 

You do your truth I will do mine... 

I will die for Jesus will you? 

Bitterness

I tried to watch a movie today, it was supposed to be uplifting and inspiring. To me, it brought back a lot of painful memories.

Bitterness can be a daily struggle. We have to fight it or be consumed. I am sitting here at my dining room table fighting it right now. It is so hard for me to see why I had to endure through the hardship I did. I honestly don't know why. Maybe it is to help one of you when no one helped me.

My goal in life is to help women like me. I don't want my worst enemy to suffer like I did. I couldn't stomach the thought of it and yet I know thousands of people are living the same existence each and every day. 

I am talking about abuse. Men get abused too, lets keep that door in mind but for me, I can only see my own world. 

So to get through this bitterness I am writing you all in the hopes that God will speak to us through His inspired Word. 

We know that in the end, all things work together for His good. So the good in my story is I survived and have thrived in my new life. I have a beautiful daughter who is my gift from God and the most loving husband I could ever ask for. I am thankful to God that He allowed me to have this happiness.

God says in His word time and again that He loves us. I know this is true because when I left my ex, I had friends pop out of the wood work to help me and my daughter to get on our feet! Wish they had of popped out sooner, but all in good time right!

I know that I am redeemed even though I divorced my ex. God hates divorce but He also hates abuse and you should never stay in an abusive situation! No person, male or female should ever have to be afraid of their partner! 

If you do decide to stay, SEND YOUR KIDS AWAY!!! You may want to be a martyr but your kids should never have to see you being beaten! Do you understand the turmoil you are causing them? 

My mother, stayed with an abuser. My brothers and I saw her being hit, saw him take an axe and tried to murder her!!! I will never, as long as I live forget that!!! I will never forget the day he threw hot scalding coffee on her and strangled her till she almost died and could speak for weeks after! I will never forget the day he came downstairs Saturday morning from the top floor to the basement wearing his steal cap shoes and proceeded to kick my brothers because we were laughing too loud at the TV!!!

Folks, abuse is wrong period. No one has the right to lay hands on anyone! 

If you are reading this and you are the abuser, you need to listen right now, you are destroying your family. You are destroying your witness. It is time for you to smartin' up and do right by your family! I do not care one wit how stressful your job is, or how much of an ass your boss is or how dirty your home is or how loud your kids are, KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FEET to yourself!!! 

REPENTANCE IS YOUR KEY!!! 

You need to get on your face before the Lord and be broken by Him or lose everything. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

Wives, if you are being abused, LEAVE.

Husband's, if you are being abused STAND UP and stop taking it! You are the head! Either take control or walk out that door. If she is beating on you, report her! Take pictures of your wounds and report her silly ass! Do not be ashamed! You are a valuable person too! 

Folks if you have laid a hand on your spouse regardless of your gender, you have broken your sacred covenant vow to love, honour and protect! 

God made man first then woman. We are to walk in concert together, in harmony. How can two walk together if they are unequally yoked and can not agree? 

Folks, YOU can not change your spouse, only God can and only if your spouse comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus! I know this to be fact. I spent the better part of my marriage praying and believing for a change. It never came and things got worse. You're best option is to SAVE YOURSELF and I will fight any preacher who says different! God does not want to see you being abused EVER!!! The advice I took from two Pastors was to be blameless and to Fake it! Bull shit right there!!!! 

I know I will struggle throughout my life now with the memories of the past but Praise God I am free and liberated from my past! I have a glorious future ahead of me and I know that as each thought creeps up I can take it captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus. 

I already feel better... and I hope my words will encourage all of you to look to God for your rescue. If you do leave an abusive situation, give everyday to God and allow Him to be your Husband and provider and I promise you, He will take care of you. 

FORGIVE, FORGET, MOVE FORWARD!

Let us tackle a huge issue today! FORGIVENESS

I really have to work hard on somethings but other things come a lot easier for me. Forgiveness isn't one of those things. Forgiveness isn't natural for a lot of people. In fact it goes against every natural instinct we have. WHY???? Because not forgiving makes us feel justified and gives us power. Nothing will make you feel better then to have someone grovel at your feet and make you feel like you are some sort of royal.

But here is the kicker, it's also ungodly, antichrist, antichristian to be unforgiving. 

I use to have a huge problem with this one particular person. I swear she was put on this earth to be my thorn in the flesh! She actually attacked me IN CHURCH one time! Jumped right on my back and started hitting me because I wouldn't stand on her side against someone else. I did have the satisfaction of throwing her off me across the room. I was much stronger than her in my younger years, but sadly, a friend prevented me for beating her assets.

This girl followed me through life for a great many years and when she sprang up like a spring time weed, she brought nothing but trouble! Because of the relationship type we had, I would get unwanted occasional reports from people about her.

One day as I was doing dishes, I was looking out the window and she came to mind, I was actually very happy that day until she crossed over my mind and I could feel the bitterness start to rise up in me, so I stopped doing dishes and OUT LOUD I declared

"AS AN ACT OF MY FREEWILL I FORGIVE ****HER NAME HERE***! I TAKE THIS THESE THOUGHTS CAPTIVE AND TO THE OBEDIENCE OF JESUS CHRIST AND COVER THEM UNDER THE BLOOD!"

You know from that day forward, 14 years ago at the time of writing this, I have no quarrel with her. I have hardly heard from her and she has gone her way and I mine. Occasionally someone will bring her up in conversation but I have all but forgotten her.

I have *forgotten* a lot of things over the years as I have practice Forgiving and Forgetting. I want to move forward in my life and not be held back.

A handful of people know my personal story, a small amount of people know the details, and I get asked often why I don't hate certain people for what they did to me. In all honesty, I do not recall a lot of what has happen. There is a mental block. I prayed that God removes from me the memory and the pain of the memory. I will not be controlled by my emotions. Emotions are fickle and untrustworthy. They change over time and in an instant. I had a specific individual who came to me and asked me for forgiveness for something that happen years earlier, I knew what they were talking about, but I told them, that it was a dead issue for me. I could sit with this individual no problem and even ministered to them. That's the thing about God, you got to let Him work in you and through you. Get yourself out of His way so that He can use you mightily!

I choose FREEDOM from my past. 

Ps -103:1

The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.  The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He does not treat us as OUR SINS DESERVE or repay us according to our iniquities. As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

I don't want to be a person who withholds forgiveness towards someone. It really and truly feels very wrong. How is it that Jesus Christ can forgive me for the sins I have committed and there are many and I can't forgive my ex, my neighbour, the man who molested me? Should I hold onto feelings that do no good for me?

I could play the victim card for years to come if I wanted, but my reality is this: JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED. In Jesus, I have no need for a past. I have no need to remember hurt. I have no need to carry resentment. I have freedom! I have a freedom that can only come through Jesus!

Jesus forgave Peter for denying him! Jesus forgave Paul for persecuting Christians! Jesus forgave me for falling. How much more can I love Christ by forgiving those who have hurt me? How can I? Look at how Jesus even taught us to pray:

MY FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN,

HOLY IS THE NAME!

THY KINGDOM COME

THY WILL BE DONE

ON EARTH

AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

GIVE ME THIS DAY MY DAILY BREAD

AND FORGIVE ME MY SINS

What the world tells you to do and what the WORD tells you to do are two vastly different things. The world wants you to be a victim for your whole life. The world wants you to be depressed, down, full of hate and offence!

BUT GOD!!!!

God does not want that for you! He said in His Word: The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy BUT I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest! John 10:10

Are you walking in victory over withholding forgiveness? There is NOTHING that is not forgivable!!! Even murder. God does not want you to be consumed with hate and withholding forgiveness, that is why He tells you to CAST YOUR BURDENS onto Him and that VENGEANCE IS HIS.

I was asked by someone recently, in light of my story how do the other people involve move on with their lives when an affair has occurred. They see the "evil" couple (my word) living their best life, loving every moment of it, while they are in a depression, they are hurting, they have walked away from the Lord. How is it that the offending couple can stand and blatantly ask for forgiveness when they have hurt so many people?

Here is the straight up truth: THEY DO NOT HAVE A BIBLICAL LEG TO STAND ON.

While they feel they are the victim, they are holding onto an offence that they perceive to be righteous. They were the one left behind. They were the victim. They have that "righteous indignation" against the other couple.

Apparently the other couple has asked not only their ex's but the church for forgiveness, and have asked God most importantly to forgive them their sins, so in the eyes of God, under the blood of Christ, in the covenant of Grace, these two people who have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God have been made righteous before Him. Who is anyone in that circle to withhold forgiveness? It is not up to them. If God forgave the offending couple, then they are forgiven, PERIOD. Your opinion does not matter!

Reality is, it's time for them to FORGIVE, FORGET, MOVE FORWARD.

Walking in offence is walking in direct rebellion against the Word of God and rebellion towards the Word of God is liken to witchcraft! 1 Sam 15:23

For your own sake, forgive yourself and forgive others. Ask God to turn your heart to truth that can only be found in Him and ask Him to put His love in your heart for the one you are having a hard time forgiving.

Dr. Lester Sumrall said in one of his messages on Forgiveness, "If you truly forgive someone, send them a gift."

Scriptures to meditate on:

Colossians 3:13 – Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 103:10-14 – He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for his mercy toward those who fear and honor him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west. He is like a father to us, tender and sympathetic to those who reverence him. For he knows we are but dust.

Hebrews 8:12 – For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Timothy 1:15-16 – Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

Luke 23:34 – As he hung on the cross – “And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

WE NEED TO WALK IN FORGIVENESS ALL THE TIME!

Ephesians 4:31-32 – Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Mark 11:25 – And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Luke 6:35-36 -But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Proverbs 10:12 – Hatred stirs old quarrels, but love overlooks insults.

God will Help. LET HIM!

Ephesians 6:12 GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

¹² This is not a wrestling match against a human opponent. We are wrestling with rulers, authorities, the powers who govern this world of darkness, and spiritual forces that control evil in the heavenly world.

This seems to be a recurring theme for me this past month. I hear it over and over and over, so I am guessing that God is trying to get something through to me!

We as Christians spend a lot of time fighting our people. Heck, my favourite quote "Christians kill their wounded". I see it all the time! Catholics hating on the Protestants. Christians crapping on another branch because they teach something different from what they believe.

I am guilty of this. I would call myself Full Gospel Non-Denominational but I really do not agree with a lot of the teachings that come from the Baptist branch. Their theology is not what I see in the bible...

BUT...

I listen to a variety of preachers, I really don't care what camp they are sitting in, as long as Jesus is their Lord and Saviour, then I want to know what they know. I take what I learn and I measure it against Holy Scripture! If it doesn't line up, it's discarded. I listen to Rabbi's, Priest, Pastors - how am I to learn if I don't listen!

Now, I keep seeing all over the place people slandering big name preachers. Everyone from Billy Graham to Kenneth and Gloria Copeland to Joyce Meyers to Dr. Tony Evans. I hear so many slanderous things it's hard to believe it comes from other Christians. I understand non-Christians talking like that,but I never understood why other Christians run their mouths about fellow believers.

So what if someone is Catholic? If their Saviour is Jesus, what's that to you? Where is the UNITY that is suppose to be in Christ?

So what if someone is a Faith Healer? They are believing for someone to be healed! IT IS WRITTEN! So why should people not be healed? Sure there are fakers, but guess what, God sees them...

So what if someone is Word of Faith? If they want to blab it and grab it, what does it concern you?If they have found scripture to stand on, it's up to God to deal with them, not you. You can stay poor your whole life for anyone cares, if these people are believing for million dollars that's none of your business.

So what if someone is Baptist? They can pick the parts of the Bible that they are comfortable with!

MOCKING another believer is division in the ranks and wrong! It is not up to you to tell anyone HOW they should believe Jesus! If someone has faith enough to stand against Cancer, shut your face against their healing! How is it your job to discourage their faith? Why would you allow the enemy to use you to steal someone's faith and healing! That right there is just sick. Just because you don't believe doesn't stop them!

But what if they die? Then they are dead. It doesn't mean anything to you. People die. Maybe it's to save them from a worse fate. What if they stay in that wheel chair? Is it going to stop them from praising God? No? Paul allowed his thorn in the flesh to remain! He had the power and God given authority to be done with it, but he allowed it to remain!

See the bull crap some Christians do doesn't stop there. It bleeds out into our everyday lives and church. How many of you can honestly say that you do not gossip??? I stopped going to women's groups because it became an all out gossip session and I have no room in life for anyone else's business but my own! You aren't doing sister so and so any favours by talking behind her back and you need to repent for gossiping too! God sees you. Your not fooling anyone but you.

I know a lot of I will call them militant Christians who are more concerned with hurting hearts then speaking truth. Let's roll down to the LGBT side of town for a moment.

GOD LOVES ALL LGBTQetc. HE LOVES THEM, HE WANTS THEM TO BE APART OF HIS FAMILY! HE DOES NOT WANT A SINGLE LGBTQ TO GO TO HELL! He just doesn't approve of their sin. It's the SIN God hates, not the physical person. That is why we are to address the sin, in love. I tell you what, I really don't care if someone is LGBT, if they Love Jesus, Jesus will fix whatever hurt their heart is harbouring and bring them into right standing with Him. My job here on earth is not to force repentance but to spread the LOVE of JESUS and tell the world there is a better way!

ABORTION... Folks, abortion is a deadly sin! How do we love someone who willingly kills their child? The same way God willing loves you when you sin. Abortion is a sin just AS BAD as lying, stealing, cheating, murder, adultery, homosexuality... it's all sin, none is greater than the other. I would imagine that they typical woman going for an abortion isn't a sadistic killer. She is probably someone who has found her way into what she thinks is a no win situation and can't see herself out of it. She probably has been taught and believes that she isn't carrying life and that "thing" inside her will make her life even worse than it already is. THE DEVIL IS LYING TO HER!!! BIND THAT DEVIL IN JESUS NAME!!!

We, as the Body of Christ need to come together and instead of warring against the flesh, we need to take authority over the spirits that motivate people to do wrong.

Here is something I have learned, people sin because they are lead to it. The devil leads the way and we humans stupidly follow him and it always leads us to a world of hurt. See the HUGE difference between human sinning and the devils sin, we have a tempter, the devil fell on his own.

The devil is a dirty fighter. He will hit you with every thing he can to tempt you into a sin. He revels in the flesh and the things of the flesh especially the pleasures of flesh. Notice how a lot of the things that tempt us are things like sex, food, power. When were you tempted last to do something good???

You see it all the time. People using sex to hold something over someone. Like those hollywood elites, who use sex to take advantage of some up and coming actor/ress. It's all power and control. The things that people desire most. Hollyweird is full of the most depraved minds in the world...

Satan doesn't have any spiritual weapons to come against you. That is why this scripture we are camping on is vital to overcoming! We can not fight the devil with weapons he is familiar with, we need to bring in the BIG GUNS. We need to fight with the POWER OF GOD against these evil forces that are surrounding us.

Stop worrying about irrelevant things, start worrying about things that are important like HOW TO STOP THE DEVIL IN HIS TRACKS!

Time is running out, and the devil knows his days are number so he is upping his game. He knows where to hit you where it hurts. He knows how to make you stumble but he forgets that we may fall, but we have Jesus to lift us up again!

I have fallen! I have cried out to God and HE HAS SAVED ME! The devil won a small battle, but he has lost his war with me!

You must stop fighting every one else and put your laser focus where it needs to be and that is on Jesus blood which SAVES and has already DEFEATED the devil!

To fight the devil, you got to stand with Jesus! Your weapons are not carnal, they are of the Spirit and they are designed to DESTROY the devil!

4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

7 You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.

8 So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.

 The infighting needs to stop. The fighting with brothers and sisters needs to stop. The fighting with other people not of the faith needs to stop. THE BATTLE IS IN THE SPIRIT and the only way to win is to remain firm in our faith and fight the battle they way Jesus did. Not uttering a word in our defense but allowing Holy Scripture to fight for us. GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY!!!

Prayer unlocks great things and scripture gives us power! The more we jump into the water with Jesus, they stronger we will be able to come to resist the devil.

Read the Bible folks, the devil is already defeated! He has no power except what you allow for him! Bind him and leave him bound! He has no right to operate in the life of a believer.

When we wage these wars in the Spirit, you may never see on this side of eternity how much damage has been done to the devil and his angels, but remember this, there are over a TRILLION angels in the spirit realm who are kicking butt and taking names every time you come against the devil and the principalities and powers and spiritual forces of wickedness in earth! UNDERSTAND how powerful your prayers are!

Make it a point to stand firm on God's Word everyday and pray hard for your community! You may not be a big name preacher, but the town you live in is YOUR mission field and it is up to you to cover it in prayer daily! You are a life changer when you pray for your community. The only way to overcome anything is by praying UNITY into the Church. We are suppose to be one body! We have a right to pray unity! We are one vine with off shoots and guess what, Word of Faith, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, people will all be in heaven if their Faith and Belief is in Jesus!

BIND the principalities, the powers that are evil, murder, abortion, the wickedness! You have the authority to fight the evil in your home towns! The Lord gave you your town and every place you have stepped foot! You have a right to bring God to town!!!!

As my favourite white haired preacher sez "Do not judge Christianity by Christians - Judge Christianity by Jesus Christ!"








 

When I am Afraid...

A promise from God, that even when we are afraid, we still can put our whole trust 

In the Lord. 

In 2004, I faced my worst fear head on. The death of my Mother. My mom was the one person I looked up too much of my life. She was a minister and the only person I have ever met that prayed without ceasing! 

I recall many nights when I was young, I would get up and go check on her to make sure I didn't miss the rapture! If she was gone....oh boy!

My whole life was up turned the night she departed for glory, she died laughing at a tale my brother was telling her. She had dreamt the week before about dancing before God! I was no where near ready!

Near the end of my mom's life she had given up. She was tired and beaten down from her years. She wanted to go home and so she confessed death over herself and reaped the harvest of her words.

I was unaware of how sick she was, she refused to tell us her doctors report. She just went about her days, sing and praising God. Never let on to any of us. In my opinion that was dirty. Anyways, the evening of March 2, 2004, I said good night to her for the last time.

I had no clue what to do with my life. I had been at home with mom, helping to raise my brothers kids. I had no future plans laid out for me!

FEAR AND ANXIETY 

These two things will make your life a living nightmare and cause you to make really bad decisions. Instead of leaning on God I panicked. I made a rush decision which caused me a lot of sorrow. I can't help thinking how different my life would have been had I relied on God.

No fear exists where his love is. Rather, perfect love gets rid of fear, because fear involves punishment. The person who lives in fear doesn’t have perfect love.

Had I choose to walk in God's love and promises, I bet you I would have been spared the sorrow of making a huge mistake.

We have a lot of scriptures to help us walk through our fear and distress, but it takes a lot of Faith to take the hard road. God knows the circumstances we live in, God has already made alternate routes for us to take instead of the easy road. Easy is rarely good. Smart is one thing, easy is lazy and laziness leads to a whole world of bad situations.

I went to the Lord for help. He answered me and rescued me from all my fears.

When we step out in Faith AND DO NOT WAVER  in our Faith, God honours us. We show God that we can walk in Faith. Even if we take the easy route, God is still with us. But every decision we decide to make will have their consequences, Good, bad or indifferent. God can use any situation for His ultimate Glory. God is not limited by much of anything when it comes to you, except by what you believe.

Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks.

When we do our own thing, God is still doing His. We just have to let God back in to turn our fear into Faith. No situation is too tough for God to get through to you. Pray, and pray frevetently! Change comes on the knees of a humble and contrite person.

Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.

When your mind is loosed off the fear, FAITH RISES UP! Faith is a giant killer! Faith gets in the face of fear and fear crumbles as it over come by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony!

God is right beside you as you stand in unwavering Faith! NO Fear! What fear can stand up to God almighty? Even death has bowed! Nothing stands before the Eternal One! NO Fear is to great for Him to help you over come! Call on the Name of the Lord and be saved!

“I have commanded you, ‘Be strong and courageous! Don’t tremble or be terrified, because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’ ”

You have been commanded to stand Strong and Courageous! Just because you went the wrong route does not mean you have stay that way! GOD will bring you back to where you need to be. It is a process though, and it can take time. For me 12 years before I hit my stride again, but during those 12 years I fought uphill the whole way. Yes, I lost ground when my eyes left the cross, but when I focused hard on God and His promise that He would be with me, my life began to change. I was given an out and I jumped to that!

Trust God NOW. Faith is a NOW thing. Faith has already said the battle is yours! HEB 11:1 NOW FAITH IS.... Today is the beginning of a change for you IF YOU GIVE your fear and anxiety over to God. He is the only one that effects change in your life. Search the scriptures for Faith building, speak the Words of Life over you and let God rebuke the spirits of fear and anxiety in your life! Allow God to be your Husband, Provider, Father. God has got you coverèd by the precious blood of His Son, Jesus.

I lived through my worst fear... the devil lost that ground!
