Monday: Praying for his relationship with God
-That God will always be first in His life
Mark 12:30
So love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’
-That he will have a strong desire to grow Spiritually
Colossians 1:9-12
For this reason we have not stopped praying for you since the day we heard about you. We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through every kind of spiritual wisdom and insight. 10 We ask this so that you will live the kind of lives that prove you belong to the Lord. Then you will want to please him in every way as you grow in producing every kind of good work by this knowledge about God. 11 We ask him to strengthen you by his glorious might with all the power you need to patiently endure everything with joy. 12 You will also thank the Father, who has made you able to share the light, which is what God’s people inherit.
-That God will be his foundation always
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on His teachings day and night. He is like a tree planted byside streams, a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does.
- That he will keep his heart soft towards what God is doing in his life
Ezekiel 11:19
I will give them a single purpose and put a new spirit in them. I will remove their stubborn hearts and give them obedient hearts.
- That God will shape his character to be more like Jesus
Philippians 2:12-13
My dear friends, you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I’m absent. In the same way continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 13 It is God who produces in you the desires and actions that please him.
- His repentance and deliverance
Proverbs 28:13
Whoever covers over his sins does not prosper. Whoever confesses and abandons them receives compassion.

Because you love me, I will rescue you. I will protect you because you know my name.

-His self-image: to realize that he is an image bearer of God!

You don’t belong to yourselves. 20 You were bought for a price. So bring glory to God in the way you use your body.
